We've all seen the regular fruits that are sold in the supermarkets: apples, bananas, oranges, and so on. In Asia, there are a wide variety of fruits - many of them are not readily available in the United States. These pictures were taken last summer while on vacation in Singapore and Malaysia. Take a look.
These are mini limes that are still growing.
This is a dragonfruit. The texture is similar to a kiwi and the inside is white with lots of little black seeds. I've only eaten it once in my life, and it wasn't particularly pleasing... it's very bland and almost has no taste. At least it looks cool.
So this weird looking fruit is called Custard Apple. I took this picture outside of my Grandma's house in Malaysia. I actually haven't eaten this fruit yet, but according to my parents, it's very sweet.
Random Fact #3: I'm going on an east coast tour next week!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited! They'll take us to New York, Washington D.C, Hershey's, Niagara Falls, Harvard, MIT, and more! Count on tons and tons of pictures.
